◉ 菰野横山邸園には、昭和を代表する作庭家重森三玲氏が手掛けた石庭と表千家吉田紹敬宗匠が設計した茶室尽日庵があります。他にも、敷地内には江戸期に立てられた正門、主屋、土蔵、明治期に立てられた旧診療所の長屋、そして昭和４３年に建て替えられた書院があります。
Komono Yokoyama Mansion Garden features a karesansui (dry landscape garden) designed by Mirei Shigemori, one of the most influential garden designers of the Shōwa era, and the tea house Jinjitsu-an, designed by Sōkei Yoshida, a master of the Omotesenke school of tea. In addition, the grounds include the main gate, main residence, and earthen storehouse dating back to the Edo period; a former clinic longhouse built in the Meiji period; and a shoin-style hall that was rebuilt in 1968.
◉ ２０２０年３月に庭園が国登録記念物名勝地関係に登録され、翌４月に正門、主屋、茶室尽日庵、書院、土蔵、旧診療所が国登録有形文化財に登録されました。
In March 2020, the garden was registered as a National Registered Monument (Place of Scenic Beauty). Next month, the main gate, main residence, tea house Jinjitsu-an, shoin-style hall, earthen storehouse, and former clinic were registered as National Registered Tangible Cultural Properties.
